organizational elements
Organizational Elements atau Elemen Organisasi adalah suatu entitas atau elemen-elemen penyusun susatu perusahaan. Di dalam perusahaan, struktur susunan sumber daya perusahaan dipetakan kedalam Aplikasi SAP, yaitu dengan menggunakkan elemen-elemen organisasi tersebut. (SAP, 2006)
Master Data
Master data adalah suatu penyimpanan data terpusat yang menyediakan informasi dan tersedia bagi seluruh pengguna. Data yang tersimpan selalu up to date dan bebas dari pengulangan data. (SAP, 2006)
Transaction
Transaction adalah suatu program aplikasi yang mengeksekusi/menjalankan proses bisnis dalam sistem SAP. (SAP, 2006)
Organizational Elements
1. Client
The client is the highest-level element of all organizational elements; it represent the enterprise/headquarters group.
Perusahaan yang menggunakan sistem SAP, dalam pembahasan Fundamental ini adalah IDES (International Demonstration and Educational System).
2. Company Code
The company code is a legal independent accounting unit representing the central organizational element of financial accounting. the company code also represent the tax law (national) view of the company, the fiscal calender, the local currency, and the tax reporting requirements.
Unit Accounting di suatu negara. Perusahaan IDES memiliki banyak anak perusahaan di banyak negara, dibedakan misal karena Pajak x Dikodekan: misal 800
3. Plant
A plant can manufacture product, distribute product, or provide a service; it is the central organizational unit of production.
Unit pusat produksi, unit penyimpanan material (berhubungan dengan produksi) = Pabrik
4. Storage Location
Material stocks in Inventory Management can be differentiated within one plant according to storage location.
Storage Location yaitu bagian dari Plant, sub-unit dari Plant = Ruang
5. Sales Organization
The sales organization is the central organizational element in the sales order management that controls the terms of sales to the customer.
Sales Organization ini salah satu bagian penjualan di suatu negara/wilayah Distribution Channel dan bagian distribusisuatu produk yg dijual.
6. Distribution Channel
Distribution channels can be used to define how different products reach consumers, for example, wholesale.
7. Organizational Unit
Organizational Units describe the various business units that exist in an enterprise. Often units are loosely defined as functional or regional departements.
Disini Unit-unit yang ada di perusahaan, dikelompokkan berdasarkan fungsinya = departemen
8. Position
Position are the individual employee assignments in the enterprise. maksudnya position ini yaitu dimana karyawan ditugaskan dalam perusahaan.
Customer Master Data
A customer master contains key information that defines the business relationship between a company and its customer. company code data controls the posting procedure and subsequent processing, such as payments and dunning. sales organization data provides inofromation on customers for support execution of such business processes as entering sales orders, shipping, billing, and processing payment. The customer master's "three-part sturcture" is represented by :
1. General Data
Data tentang customer untuk seluruh bagian perusahaan.
2. Data For Company Codes
Data mengenai perjanjian khusus antara perusahaan dengan customer tertentu. Misal: perjanjian bundle software.
3. Data for Sales
Data untuk penjualan.
Material Master
The Material master contains all of the key information a company needs to manage a material within its organization. The material master defines, among other things, how a product is sold, manufactured, purchased, inventroried, accounted, and costed.
The information in the material is grouped into views that are organized by business function.
a). Personal File
Personal files are master data records used primarily mySAP ERP Human Capital Management. These master records follow the same basic three-part structure, as do other master records.
The Functions of Organizational Management enable you to quickly and efficiently map your current organizational and reporting structure with its organizational objects-organizational units, jobs, positions, and tasks.
b). Organizational Units
Describe the various business units that exist in your enterprise. Multiple organizational units and their relationships form the organizational structure. Organizational units can be loosely defined as functional or regional departments, or as project groups, depending on the type of organization.
c). Jobs
Jobs serve as descriptions, or templates, that apply to serveral positions with similiar requirements, tasks, or other characteristics.
d). Positions
Positions are the individual employee assignments in the enterprise. Persons occupy positions. A position inherits a job's characteristics, but you can also define additional characteristics spesific to that position.
e). Persons
Persons hold positions within the organizational structure. Persons represent employee in your company.
f). Transactions
Transactions are applications programs that execute business processes in the SAP system. Whenever possible, master data is copied during transaction processing, thus avoiding re-entry of data. For example, when executing the transactions Create Sales Order, the user must enter the customer master number; this copy is in all of the relevant customer information.
